The Velocity 111 is powered by the newly announced Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and offers a QWERTY keyboard for convenient text input. Sporting a flush mounted, 2.5″ QVGA touchscreen display, the Velocity 111′s built-in GPS receiver should come in handy. This sporty handset is expected to be available in Q3 2008.

The Velocity 111 is extremely well connected, with quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and tri-band WCDMA (850/1900/2100MHz). High speed data is supported with HSUPA and built-in WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1 makes it easy to use a wireless headset or transfer files. The microSD card slot offers plenty of storage expansion, as well.

Velocity 111 comes with a 2 megapixel camera on the back of the device helps you capture the moment, while the front facing VGA resolution secondary camera makes video calling (where supported) a breeze. The Velocity 111 is clad in all black and will be available unlocked, though pricing has not been announced.

The Velocity 111 and Velocity 103 were announced. The Velocity 111 & 103 are both Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional toting handsets. The newcomer cell phone maker is planning on expanding fast, and these are their first two offerings.

The Velocity 103 “is a very good looking VGA touchscreen display equipped smartphone that uses a trackball controller for navigation. Velocity 111 lacks the QWERTY keyboard found on its brother, the Velocity 111, but weighs a bit less while still offering all of the high-tech wizardry people are looking for, like HSDPA/HSUPA 3G data.” The Velocity 103 is expected in Q2, 2008.
