Alltel has formally announced that it will be carrying the newly launched LG Glimmer, though it will be called the LG Glimmer AX830. Starting with a large 2.8″ WQVGA (240×400 pixel) touchscreen display, the LG Glimmer AX830 is a slider handset with plenty of features. LG Glimmer come with 2.0 megapixel camera with video recording is on board for capturing the moment, while the microSD card slot ensures you have plenty of room to store your memories.

The LG Glimmer come with MP3 player with customizable equalizer, an expandable memory slot and is GPS capable. This slick phone is rich with several of Alltel’s Axcess applications including Alltel Navigation, Axcess Search, CityID and Axcess TV. In addition, For LG Glimmer, users can listen to their favorite music while utilizing other multimedia features on the phone, such as taking photos, recording video or sending text messages. The LG Glimmer also features 3D graphics support and 128MB of internal memory. all come with LG Glimmer
The LG AX830 Glimmer is expected to be available online and through Alltel retail stores on March 13th, with pricing set at $249.99 with 2-year commitment and rebates.

What do you think about the new Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905a 8.1 MP Camera Touch Screen Cell Phone? Just released a new review on my site and have had many great customer comments. Wondering if this is going top be a pattern with Sony’s Ericsson line.
