After the Touch Diamond and Touch Pro, Today HTC announced its new HTC S740, HTC is now bringing the HTC S740 in the same design language, with piano black finish and faceted back, resembling a diamond. HTC S740 comes with a Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard Edition smartphone with a QVGA display and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The HTC S740 adopts the style of HTC’s popular Touch Diamond, but shares much more in common with the HTC S710 and HTC S740 smartphones that HTC has put out in the past. One notable upgrade from those devices, however, is the addition of a 4th row to the keyboard for the space and shift/control keys. There are basic information of HTC S740.

For HTC S740 comes with a Windows Mobile Standard Edition device, the 2.4″ QVGA display on the HTC S740 lack touchscreen abilities. But HTC S740 does come equipped with 7.2Mbps HSDPA 3G support for the 900 and 2100MHz frequency bands, as well as HTC S740 quad-band GSM/EDGE support. And like the Touch Diamond, the HTC S740 sports a 3.2 megapixel camera, though it lacks the Touch Diamond’s autofocus system. Let’s enjoy with HTC S740.
The HTC S740 features 256MB of internal storage and a whopping 256MB of application RAM. A microSD memory card slot provides extra storage room for media files and apps, while WiFi and Bluetooth give users extra connectivity options. A GPS (or AGPS) navigation module will be on board the HTC S740 as well, as will an FM radio.

The HTC S740 is for the European market, being a quad-band GSM and dual-band 900/2100 MHz UMTS/HSDPA 7.2 Mbps phone. In the U.S., HTC S740 will be usable as a phone but for data one will use only EDGE or Wi-Fi. It features integrated aGPS, 3.2MP camera without auto focus, 2.4-inch QVGA display, microSD slot, 256MB of internal memory and 256MB RAM. HTC S740 will be available across Europe in September, but pricing is not announced. There are information of HTC S740.
