The D840 is a member of the D range designed by Samsung with usability in mind. The Samsung D840 is a communication & entertainment mobile phone which comes in a stylish casing. The casing is available in either a sleek black finish or an eye catching brushed silver coloured casing. The phone comes with a slide open mechanism which is smooth to use. The Samsung D840 is from the same family as the Samsung D800 & the popular Samsung D500 which are all slider type mobile handsets. The D840 slider phone is easy to use & oozes style & sophistication in both its slide open & slide closed position.
The phone comes with a large & colourful screen which can be viewed when the D840 is in its slide open & slide closed position. The screen provides a clear & bright 2.12 Inch display for the user to view their menu, photos, messages, video, music information, Internet & games. The user can use the external keys & navigation which is situated under the large screen & can be used when the phone is closed. The phone comes with a stylish keypad which can be used when the handset is in its slide open position & the keys are etched into the metal surface which is easy to use & looks highly attractive.
